Spring here we come!!

Well, Spring is still about a month away, but Boise has been (somewhat) warm these days, so Amber and I went to Tully Park park yesterday afternoon. She hadn't been on the swings since last fall, so they took a little getting used to....

what in the world....?

are you sure this is safe?

but after a while she was having a blast...

Wheeeeeeh!!!

I wanted to take more pictures, especially when Amber's friend Daniel came over to play, but Amber was running all over the playground, trying to climb up the slide and other monkey business, it was all I could do to try to keep up with her. Oh well, I'm sure there will be many more visits to the park this year...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Yay!! I did it. Finally figured out a way to change the template for our blog. The look of the blog may change again soon (if I find a template I like better) but for now, it works and it's certainly..."springy".

Not much else going on in Meridian, ID these days. The snow has finally melted, and we're having what Andrew calls a "warm spell" before we get some more snow and cold weather (whoopie =( ).

To the handful of people that read our blog: have a Happy Valentine's Day!!

Bye-bye, Boots...

A few days before President Hinckley's passing another passing took place that will probably only be heard of or remembered by a few people: the members of the Bell family. Boots, the oldest of the Bell cats, passed away after living to the ripe old age of 18 years (that's 88 human years, according to my internet research).

I'll miss having the "Boots welcoming committee" greet us when we go to visit Andrew's mom. He would come over to say hi to us whenever we rolled in, no matter how late, and he was always up for a cuddle or a pat on the head.

So bye, bye Boots. We miss you =).
